Situation

The clients were initially referred to Ying by their mortgage broker. They had moved to Melbourne from Sydney and were renting nearby. They wanted to stay in Port Phillip Council area. They engaged Ying for the Property Advisory service (link to service) as they were both busy professionals working full time with a toddler and a baby. They wanted advice surrounding where to buy, what to buy and how much to pay and someone to take the hassle out of the homebuying process for them.

Approach

Ying refined the clients brief. She took them out on the road for a property tour to help understand what they wanted in their new family home and communicated with them regularly with upcoming opportunities as well as searching for off market opportunities. A fantastic double storey terrace came up in Middle Park which was perfect for their brief and budget.

Impact

The property was being auctioned in a few weeks time and Ying conducted all the due diligence leading up to the auction.  This was crucial especially when buying a hundred plus year old period home as there can hidden surprises for the unsuspecting buyer. Ying successfully purchased the property at auction for her clients who LOVE their new home and locale.
